Infant Room
In the infant room, one will find some of the center’s smallest learners. Typically, the children in this classroom vary in age from 6 weeks to 12 months. The teachers in the infant room provide a secure and supportive environment that promotes physical, cognitive and social development. Each infant has an individual schedule that is sensitive to his or her needs. Staff understand that developing positive relationships with an infant’s family is key to providing the best care. Daily sheets are kept so family members are aware of activities in the infant’s day. The lead teacher administers ongoing assessments to monitor growth with each infant. All staff are certified in infant CPR and First Aid.
